I really love charcters that stand out from stereotypes.
Very cool story on this one :)
And as allways a great picture

She is from a GURPS steampunk-campaign. She got too close to some weird steamtech which transformed her as it destroyed itself in an explosion.
So every night (at sunset) she turns into a ghost. And all her clothing will fall to the ground. Then every morning (at sunrise), she again first dematerialises and then turn solid again. She can of course turn solid in her ghostform and put on her clothing again. It is a bit of a problem for her though, as she has to make plans for where she will be during those times that she is forced to change form. She has since aquired some magical clothing that will transform with her.
The transformations at sunset/sunrise takes a few minutes and are quite nasty to see. The transformation between solid and ghost-form during the night is instantaneous, and no problem.

Wonderfull!
I really like the effect with the clothes. Did she temporary materialize, then go into a more etheral state?
