It's true that the character is from the 12th century - she was originally a shepherdess that became sergeant to a knight errant to avoid a forced marriage. She later proved to be instrumental in the crowning of King Wilhelm and the unification of Wistfarthi and Wiederfan, thus laying the foundation for the United Kingdoms of Lyonia and becoming a national hero of Wistfarthi.
A famous namesake - also with foxtail and ears - flew for the Royal Airforce of Lyonia during the second World War, first in the Wfz-36 Einharja during the Battle of the Isles, and later in the Wfz-39 Walkure, the first operational jet fighter, during the war in North Africa. She was downed in France and interned as a prisoner of war in 1944, sprung free by the maquis a few months later, and fought with the maquis until the allied breakout from Normandy, when she finally returned home. She married Sandy Johnson, a British pilot that she met when her squadron was stationed in the south of England during the Battle of the Isles.
And if any descendants of Sandy and Tuva doesn't make modern showers possible, then assume it's time travel/alternate universes/thingemyjigs happening.

If I am not mistaken, mr Ackegård dis this one at a recent gaming convention. And yes, if Tuva was in her native scenery (fantasy-rpg set on a fictitious island in the English channel during the 13th century) then a waterfall would be more appropriate.....
